Dark red fruit flavors mix with a ‘brambly’ character and definite tannins. Quite friendly to both light and heavy foods. Try with goat cheese or tomato bruschetta


Monte Xanic, Vina Kristal, Chenin Blanc, Baja - Mexico, 2001, $11 _*** (3 Stars) – Arriba! Wine from Mexico. Yes it’s true. Let this white wine breathe in the glass for 20-30 minutes and it performs well. Chalky and honeyed with a surprisingly crisp character. Try with grilled veggies
